In a recent article on ways Walmart Associates can prioritize their well-being, Walmart’s Vice President of Emotional and Physical Well-Being, Lisa Woods highlights Associates’ access to digital peer support for their mental and emotional health.

Woods implores Associates to take concrete steps toward wellness: “Here are seven easy ways that you, Walmart associates, can prioritize self-care right now. I challenge you to use them. Share them with your peers and team members and encourage them to put their well-being first as well. Then share a pic or post with the rest of us at #WellbeingatWalmart and let us know how you’re making well-being a priority right now.”

One way Woods suggests caring for one’s wellness is by taking time to chat with fellow associates across the country: “Through Supportiv, we offer peer support chats 24/7. It’s free, 100% anonymous and includes trained moderators. It’s not just talking, either. Associates receive article suggestions, videos, podcasts and services that are tailored to their unique needs.”

Associates never provide any identifying information, and everything you say is kept fully private–Supportiv is one place where you can share your most vulnerable feelings without fear, whenever the urge strikes.

Walmart Associates can access Supportiv through Walmart One, or by visiting supportiv.com/walmart. To read more, find the original article, here.
