This week more than 900 high school and college mental wellness experts will convene for the 2019 California Student Mental Wellness Conference at the Sacramento Convention Center to hear from the leading voices in student mental wellness.

Supportiv co-founder Helena Plater-Zyberk will be presenting alongside Emma Bruehlman-Senecal from Hopelab, the social innovation lab, on Wednesday January 23 for the session “Tumultuous Teens: Online Peer Support as a Zero Barrier Entry Point.”

Session attendees will:

  • Gain insights and takeaways on teen social media behaviors, preferences, and mental health needs.
  • Learn how to make Supportiv available, free of charge, for teens in their school or district.

The event is hosted by Wellness Together in partnership with the California Department of Education.
