Supportiv matches you, instantly (and anonymously!) with other individuals who are struggling with something similar. You can talk about any topic, any time.
All it takes for us to do the matching is one phrase describing what you’d like to talk about. Everyone who’s matched connects in real-time in a small group that’s moderated by a human. The moderator keeps the live chat safe and troll-free and helps make our resource recommendations and service referrals hyper-targeted to what you need.
It all works using natural language processing. So far there have been nearly 1 million conversation data points used to train our proprietary language models. Our models are 3x more accurate than the industry standard language processing libraries trained by Twitter and/or Wikipedia.
Our moderators are psychology students (graduate and undergraduate) who’ve completed training by Supportiv on peer support facilitation.
No problem! You’ll be the first one to open a new support group, just for you, right away. You’ll get to spend one-on-one time with our moderator until people with similar struggles join the group.
We have a few reasons Supportiv isn't free forever:
All users are 100% anonymous. You are never asked for a name, and you do not need to register with any identifying information at all. Each user decides his/her/their own display name, which can be anything.
Every single person has moments of struggle in their everyday life. It's good to let off steam about it in a safe place. And if you're letting off steam, decompressing, and receiving helpful resources, you're staying well.
You’ve probably seen regular, static, unpersonalized support groups. We're not that. We're custom-matching you only with people who want to talk about exactly what you want to talk about, with precision. We're also not spamming you with general wellness bs tips you’ve heard a million times. We're recommending only resources that relate to your specific need, with precision.
