Supportiv matches you, in less than one minute, with other people who are struggling with something similar so everyone can immediately relate. You can chat about any topic, and everyone is always anonymous. All chats are guided by a professionally trained moderator to ensure safety, remove trolls, and keep the conversation on track. As you chat, you’ll receive resources like articles, videos and podcasts that are hyper-relevant to coping with, problem solving, and healing from your struggle.

All it takes for us to do the matching is one phrase describing what you’d like to talk about. Everything else happens magically, using natural language processing. So far there have been over 9 million conversation data points used to train our proprietary language models. Our models are more accurate than the industry standard language processing libraries trained by Twitter and/or Wikipedia.

Our moderators are psychology students (graduate and undergraduate) who’ve completed extensive training by Supportiv on peer support facilitation, crisis triage, and the use of special platform features.

No problem! You’ll be the first one to open a new peer chat, just for you, right away. You’ll get to spend a little time one-on-one time with our moderator until people with similar struggles join the group.

Every new user gets 1 hours of access for free to give Supportiv a try. After that, it’s possible to continue to use Supportiv for free by earning codes for sharing on social media. If social media’s not your thing, you can find pricing here.

We have a few reasons why this is a paid service:

  • The technology we created to match you with other users is sophisticated and costly.
  • We train and pay our moderators so you get to experience positive and supportive group dynamics.
  • There are no annoying ads (which many sites use to generate revenue and keep the service “free”).
  • We don’t sell your data (which happens on most “free” sites).

All users are 100% anonymous. You are never asked for a name, and you do not need to register with any identifying information at all. Each user decides his/her/their own display name, which can be anything.

Every single person has moments of struggle in their everyday life. It's good to let off steam about it in a safe place. And if you're letting off steam, decompressing, and receiving helpful resources, you're staying well.

You’ve probably seen regular, static, unpersonalized support groups. We're not that. We're custom-matching you only with people who want to talk about exactly what you want to talk about, with precision. We're also not spamming you with general wellness bs tips you’ve heard a million times. We're recommending only resources that relate to your specific need, with precision.
