As 2025 draws to a close, it’s been a meaningful year of impact for Supportiv. From broadening our research footprint to advancing conversations about real-world mental health solutions, this year’s milestones reflect our ongoing commitment to accessible, human-delivered peer support.
Here’s a look back at some notable highlights.
In mid-May, our CEO was published in MedCity News with a piece titled “Are Therapy-Bots Really Our Best Chance at Solving Population Mental Health?” The article posed critical questions around the role of AI versus human connection in mental health care, casting a measured but human-first vote in the broader industry discussion.
June brought an opportunity for Supportiv’s CEO to speak at the Health Evolution Teen Initiative for Confronting the Youth Mental Health Crisis roundtable. Here, Helena contributed to national discussions on youth mental health, underscoring the urgency of accessible, stigma-free support models for teens and young adults.
In July, Amazon Web Services (AWS) spotlighted Supportiv’s unique blend of technology and human moderation as part of its commitment to innovation in mental health care. This recognition reaffirmed our approach: using advanced AI to enhance rather than replace genuine human support.
Supportiv’s subclinical, 24/7 live-moderated peer support service was featured in a piece on Optum’s most scalable and innovative digital mental health tools. The writeup illuminates how Supportiv’s model complements a major national care ecosystem – helping more individuals access immediate, affordable support where traditional services might fall short.
A dedicated case study released in September revealed how Supportiv effectively serves rural teen populations – a group often hard to reach with traditional mental health services. Teens in rural areas engaging with Supportiv saw significant improvements in stress, loneliness, sadness, and optimism, illustrating how anonymous peer support can meaningfully shift emotional wellbeing across diverse communities.
In October, Supportiv was ranked for Speed to Care, Cost of Care, and Crisis Prevention against other peer support programs, with our human-led solution standing out across all evaluated dimensions. This ranking underscores Supportiv’s effectiveness in delivering timely, affordable support with real preventive value.
Our year continued with a powerful presence at the 2025 Behavioral Health Tech Conference. Supportiv’s CEO joined other leaders to discuss how moderated digital peer support can help reduce strain on overburdened therapy networks.
This year’s momentum, from impactful research and case studies to ongoing industry partnerships and thought leadership, sets a strong foundation for continued impact in 2026. We invite you to follow along!
